DASS in brief

The Aerospace District of Sardinia (DASS) is a limited liability consortium company established on October 15, 2013 and currently owned by five public and twenty-four private partners. The DASS intends to undertake suitable initiatives for the development, in the Sardinia Region, of an aerospace technological district.

Up to now, the DASS has been able to contribute to attracting projects, also in favor of its Members, for a total of over 60 million euros.

Create the conditions for the development and growth of Sardinian aerospace companies and encourage collaboration with other territories, support internationalization initiatives and marketing policies

Promote development of new industrial realities, also through a strong incentive for collaboration between SMEs and the research system

Orient and, where possible, strengthen the ability to supply systems and products with a strong integration capacity to move to the part with the highest added value of the production chain

Seize the opportunities for structural collaboration with the main global players, starting from the introductory phases of new projects

Identify and support research programs functional to the district's objectives, concentrating resources on well-identified technological sectors capable of guaranteeing employment and development

Modernize, develop and strengthen the sources of supplies and the infrastructure system, promote and support vocational training activities
